Zen：

Great. Mine was too. I made a New Year’s Resolution to get a higher score on the TOEIC test.
そう、私も良かったよ。今年の目標はトイックのスコアをもっと伸ばすことだよ。

Richard：

That’s great. Mine is to pay off my car loan. Last year I bought a new Toyota Prius and it put me in the red.
すごいね。僕は車のローンを返済することだよ。去年トヨタﾌﾟﾘｳｽの新車を買ったから、借金しちゃったよ。

Zen：

That’s too bad. But is the car nice?
大変だね。でも車は良いでしょ？

Richard：

Yes, it’s great. My girlfriend and I are planning a road trip to Nikko in March. We will drive the car there.
最高だよ。3月に彼女と日光に行くんだ。その時に車で行くよ。

Zen：

Wow, that’s far.
わ～、遠いね。

Richard：

Yes, it is. But it is very comfortable.
まあね、でも車は快適だよ。

Zen：

頑張って借金返してね。

Richard：
