San Francisco is a beautiful city on the west coast of the United States of America. It has many great tourist sites to visit.
The most famous is the Golden Gate Bridge. You can drive across it or walk across it. It offers great view of the city.
One of these views is Alcatraz. This is the famous prison. It is also an island. It is no longer a prison. There are tours of the prison. I recommend taking the tour. You find out about Alcatraz’s notorious inmates. |

San Francisco also has cable cars. These take people up the steep hills so you do not have to walk. I like standing while I ride on a cable car. It is fun to ride a cable car on a nice day because you can see many beautiful neighborhoods.
One of my favorite neighborhoods is North Beach. The cable cars take you there. It has many outdoor cafes, Italian restaurants. |

My favorite restaurant is called the Stinking Rose. It serves every dish with garlic so you smell like garlic after you finish your delicious meal. After drinking a coffee and eating food in North Beach I like to stroll through China town. It is next to North Beach.
You can see outdoor markets, Chinese restaurants, and buy cheap souvenirs. I recommend a trip to China town for a great meal and a cheap place to stock up on gifts for your friends. There are so many places to see in San Francisco. When you go ask me for some information. |
